Bamboo Chicken Productions is a video production company specialising in extreme and wilderness documentation.

The Videos and Photographs on this website were all shot and edited by Lynwen Griffiths. She was a professional cameraman in the UK for 5 years before making a career diversion in Belize, Central America for 5 years.

There she became involved in Cave and Wilderness Rescue and started filming the rescue training undertaken by the Belize Cave and Wilderness Rescue Team, based at Cavesbranch Jungle Lodge. The videos produced, which you can see here, were for the enjoyment of the participants of the training but Lynwen’s interest in filming the more adventurous side of life grew.

Last year she accompanied one of the Rescue Team members, Walter Santos to K2 Base Camp as part of a medical team accompanying a Geological Expedition. As well as photographing the expedition she produced a 50 minute documentary at the end of it, Belize to K2, which can be bought in aid of the Belize Cave and Wilderness Rescue Team.

This year she’s accompanying the Scientific Exploration Society to Chile in search of the remains of the HMS Wager, which sank off the coast of Chile in 1741.
